I’ve been here before for myself but today my younger child hit her head into my 18-year-olds mouth and Now the front tooth is chipped. How severe is this? My kid is extremely upset and is much like myself with intense dental fears and worst case scenarios. I’ve called my dentist but it’s after hours and they are only seeing emergencies until June 19th

It's not serious at all, the enamel is very thin there and tends to chip off regularly during normal use. If it's a bit rough and annoying her tongue then take an emery board to it and smooth it off a bit. Otherwise forget about it.
