Chronic abcess awaiting sedation

I've had a chronic, draining abcess on upper right gum since last year. I'm awaiting sedation to get the extraction and it's still quite a long wait. I'm also currently ill with b12 deficiency, which causes numbness/tingling all over. I'm currently experiencing numbness in my chin and lips and this is in line with b12 deficiency symptoms but could it be caused by the abcess? This whole ordeal has blown my anxiety sky high, I wish I'd have got it seen to as soon as it appeared
