Hi

I Had A Composite Filling About 3 Months Ago & It’s Worked A Treat But There Is One Part Of The Tooth Which Is Extremely Sensitive Which Is The Part Closest To The Gum ( Where The Tooth Goes Darker ) What Could Be The Problem..? Extremely Worried As I Don’t Want It Extracted.. It’s Fine Most Of The Time But When I Drank Alcohol The Other Day.. It Gave Me A Sharp Pain In The Tooth For About 10 Mins Or So.. ?

Thanks For Any Replies.. Pic Included

Usually it means that the bond between composite and tooth hasn't fully worked. Go back and ask the dentist to check it and reseal it if they can.

Thanks Gordon.. I Will Give Them A Ring.. ? Does It Matter That I Don’t Think That The Filling Went Around The Outer Side Of The Tooth Where The Darker Bit Is..? Does That Make A Difference..? Can You See Where I Mean On The Picture..? Sorry For All The Questions
