So after avoiding the dentist at all costs, I worked up the never to get examined (it was my third attempt). Turns out I need a crown (plus some fillings replaced). Monday, I have an appointment to get a mold for the crown made. Can anyone tell me what to expect during this appointment? It's taking everything I've got not to call up and reschedule. This isn't even the appointment where I'm getting the crown and I'm flipping out.
I aren't sure what they do, I do have a crown and a bridge, but they were done some years ago. I think they took a mould, which is when they put this cold clay like stuff in a plate that fits over your teeth and take an impression of your teeth.
