Dentrix patient management software alternative - any recommendations?

Can anyone who runs a dental practice with experience in Dentrix recommend an alternative that costs less and has equal or improved functionality. Thanks!

I am presuming that you are a dentist and we always love to get dentists on here. This forum is for people that have a phobia or are nervous about seeing a dentist in order to get themselves orally healthy.

We appreciate it when dentists come on to give advice and it is greatly valued but you make no mention of wanting to understand how patients feel when nervous and how best to help them.

Maybe this isn't the forum for you if it is only other dentists opinions that you require but it would be nice if you stayed around to gain and offer advice and support to the people that post on here.
