I have to move to my sisters due to the loss of my long term partner. My sisters haven’t seen me in over 5-6 years and the state of my teeth is severe that I have become homebound. Nobody knows about the state of my teeth. I do not have the money nor insurance to have my teeth fixed. I get on a plane with my chiweenie Tuesday and am very seriously considering not getting on due to my teeth. They are very judgmental and it will be a problem as their vanity is high and they won’t want to be seen me with me.

If I do not get on that plane my dog and I will be homeless. Which is even scarier since I am homebound due to my teeth. I am scared to death that I have started to feel suicidal (which would never happen due to my dog!).

Help. Advice. I can’t breathe just thinking about this.

@Rigbymom it’s family. trust me just because you are thinking the worst which is what i do all the time🙄. it does not mean the worse will happen you and pup need a home get on that plane with the pup and you’ll be surprised that it will work out for you

So sorry to read about your situation, Rigbymom, particularly reading that you have started to feel suicidal. :( I also see how it may seem there is no solution to what you have been facing which may make feelings like that more likely. I am also so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you have been through.
Shame is a huge one and I am sure even sharing your story here was difficult enough. It is Friday now so I am sorry I am coming too late with this as the dooms day was Tuesday. Would you like to share, what you decided to do and how it went? I really hope things went okay.

From what you write it sounds like 5-6 years ago as your sister has seen you last time, your teeth were okay? It also sounds like your sister is someone who cares if she invited you to live with them, am I concluding that right? Someone who cares may have understanding for your situation around your teeth I would hope.

To me it seems almost logical that your teeth will be in a difficult state. It sounds like you have been through a lot and care of any kind is beyond of what anyone can afford in the States so how could you not develop dental issues. I may be thinking too simply here, but would it help to reach out to syour sister and say something like "hey, I am embarrassed to admit this, but my teeth got into a difficult state due to lack of insurance so I have not been able to get treatmen until now. I appreciate things are different than when you last saw me and it's not easy to talk about but that's how things are."
