Hi. I had my lower back right molar removed about a month ago. When I touch the gum on that side it hurts to the touch even a few teeth down. My gums above the extracted site behind my top back molar is also slightly swollen. My whole mouth occasionally gets a bad taste and tender at times too and I have found red spots on my tonsils and black or red spots in my cheeks. Any ideas if I have an infection now?

If you're still having pain, go back to your dentist, it's impossible to answer your question without seeing you.

I have been having quite a time since my tooth extraction a month ago on back right lower molar. It had an infection for 6 months prior and I took augmentin 10 days after to clear infection. Problem is, I am still having jaw pain and it's getting worse. When I touch my jaw bone from the outside it hurts. I also have pain feeling constantly inside and a red lump on the back of my tongue on that side. I'm stressed it's getting worse. I have upper back pain too and pressure in my head. Don't know if they are related. Any help? The lump on my tongue is a new Discovery.

Please go back to your dentist and ask them to check what's going on...

I had a tooth extracted 3 months ago, bottom right far back. It has just recently started to cause me pain when brushing or chewing food in that corner. It also looks whitish on the gum near the site but not in the hole. Any thoughts what could cause this?

Not without seeing you. Go back to your dentist if it lasts more than a few days.
