I have a lot of fear of the dentist im trying to go already did 2 appoiments but still fearful . Hyginist is friendly but the waiting room feel like hell just one table. I almost cant take it its ankward im not in the mood for any social interaction at that point and i just dont want to see people that im fear to death. It feel like the wall of shame. Most dentist have shitty waiting rooms. Waiting outside is also not an option because its on a busy street. I really wish i could wait in private . More people go this issue?

I see how the waiting room can increase anxiety. Can you think of any other ways not to have to wait too long? Or wait somewhere else? Or wait differently? ( Walking around, having headphones, or any other ways to calm down?) If your dentist is nice and has understanding for your anxiety, this may be worth of having a conversation. If I was a dentist and knew that someone would struggle with anxiety much more because of the waiting room, I would want to seek solutions. Everyone benefits if you manage to me more relaxed during your visit.
