My teeth are terrible and I I have had enough of this. The pain, the time, the worry etc. I just went through two root canals one was a retreat and one was just a regular root canal. I am waiting for crowns for them now. Now today I wake up and I have slight twinngy pain on a old crowned tooth. At least I think that's were it hurts. It seems to also hurt in the tooth two teeth up with a huge filling. The tooth looks like it may have broke a little too. So now I cant chew at all. I have temps on my right side and now pain with cold and sweet stuff on my upper left side. Wjat do I do now? I already have 3 root canals and I don't want ANOTHER ONE. I mean how many root canals is too much? The crowned tooth is my last molar can I just pull it? I am tired of living in a dental chair and I am going through a bad depression as it is and this is making me feel even worse.

Hi Dawn1981 if you think you can manage without the tooth you can choose to have it out. But I would see what the dentist has to say before you go and get yourself into a state, well more than you have already.

I know it seems like a lot at the moment but it is good that you have a dentist that you can call and you obviously know and trust them. Go see them and then when you know what you are dealing with you can discuss it with the dentist and decide the treatment you want to have.

I am sorry this has happened but when you feel a bit calmer ring the dentist and make an appointment, it isn't worth leaving it to get worse.

All the best to you let us know how you get on. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::butterfly:

Hello dawn1981,
I certainly know how you feel!! If it isn't one thing after another sometimes with our teeth..I thought I was done with my dental work when I had my two silver fillings replaced several weeks ago. Well one of the fillings is fine but the other one has been sensitive to sweets ever since I walked out of the office..Now lately it is sensitive to warm, but not cold....Last night was the first time I had to take ibuprofen for sharp little pains in the tooth when I breathed in...I'm just ready to pull the rest of them out because I, too, am sick of the pain and cost..But I hope you get everything fixed up ..I had 6 root canaled teeth in my mouth at one time!! The dentist who did my old silver fillings didn't do a good job and I ended up with the root canals..If it is a last molar I don't think you would miss it. I know teeth can cause depression so you might want to talk to someone who will listen and help you. Don't give up...You will get everything sorted out..

Oh, Dawn, I KNOW the feeling well!!
I'm in the dentist's chair WAY more than twice a year, because problems keep creeping up. BUT.........I had suffered with horrible toothaches for 20+ years because I didn't go AT ALL to the dentist. So now, I go, even it's more than 2x a year, because I NEVER want to suffer the way I suffered before.
Chin up, you'll get these problems all sorted out and then you'll be able to live and eat pain-free.
Many, many :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:!!!!!!!!!
