finding a dentist lancashire

hello everyone
really hoping someone can help
im trying to find a sympathetic NHS dentist around lancashire area or any advice how i could find one
ive not been to a dentist for over 25 years so im ashamed of that and some teeth are quite a mess
id really appreciate any help

Try having a look at the recommendations here: https://www.dentalfearcentral.org/forum/forums/north-west.30/ , and see if there's anyone near you.

You can also search here: https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/find-a-dentist for NHS dentists in your area who are taking new patients, and who offer help with 'anxiety management'.

Additionally, it's worth asking your friends/family if they have a dentist they like and trust - personal recommendations are often the best way to be sure someone really is a good choice.

Hi Suzi, I am from lancashire and i struggled with dental phobia for a number of years, as years went by my fears and teeth became worse. i searched for a caring dentist, preferably NHS, and i didnt find any. I emailed many of them but would not ring as i was too embarressed to discuss my phobia.

Then i found this site and come across a liverpool dentist who sounded to be just what i needed. although not NHS. its been 18 month now since having my treatment at pall mall dental clinic. excellent, understanding team and reasonably priced. highly reccommend!
