Hi guys!

I really hope someone can help me. After months of pain in my tooth I finally got the courage to see the dentist. Wouldn't you know, root canal, and 3 weeks before im due to fly out to Majorca with my little girl for our first holiday just the two of us.

So, as of the state of nhs dentists at the minute (just glad i have one tbf) they can't schedule me in to do the root canal until I get back from my holidays. However there is a hole in my tooth which shes concerned about.

So she said she had to do something today or it would risk infection getting into the tooth which is something I obviously don't want back home never mind abroad. So today she drilled it, removed the nerve and then put an antibiotic (i think) on it and then put a temp filling on it. She said I should be OK to fly, however I've googled it and its given me all sorts of fears. Like I said I can't get the root canal done until after I come back.

Will I be OK to fly or will I be in the god awful pain Dr Google has told me I will be?

I hope someone has some sort of advice as I currently have the holiday blues BEFORE I go away 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Thanks 😁😁

Don't worry about it. There's no problem with flying as things stand. Enjoy your holiday.

Thank you so much for getting back to me Gordon. I really should not have googled it 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I will maybe start to look forward to it now instead of my fake grin every time my little girl mentions it!

Well, the nice weather has broken here now, so you've timed your getaway perfectly :-)
