I've had a recurring gum boil for years. At first I didn't know what it was so I would leave it alone and it would eventually drain and go away. A few months ago I got it again and went to the dentist. He said its most likely caused by an impacted canine. Well tomorrow I am scheduled to have 2 teeth pulled and the canine exposed and what do I know, the boil has appeared again and its getting really big. When I got it 2 months ago I was given antibiotics. When I get it the boil gets red and soft at first then it gets bigger and harder and eventually white before it randomly drains, I don't have pain with it.
1.Will they still be able to do the work tomorrow?
2. Also I know they will want to give me more antibiotics for this plus the tooth removal and that scares me because over the last year and a half I have been on antibiotics probably close to 10 times due to a lot of dental work and some sickness. Is that safe?
