HELP had teeth out at hospital didnt put dentures in and now cant get them in!!

hi
i have just been to the hospital to have about 8 teeth removed under general, the hospital did not put denturs in like i asked them to which is a parchal upper and lower and now whenever i try to get upper in i cant get them to fit.
i have had some removed from both top and bottom i will have to get lower dentue changed because they did not remove all the teeth they said they were going to and i have stitches.
The top denture though is a parchal and should fit but it dosn't any tips? i am back to work on tueday and i cant go if huge gaps please help

Hi Zoeb,

Sometimes it is best to try to gently "jiggle" them in. What I mean is, rather than push in one direction,press up a tiny bit one side then a tiny bit the other side, almost vibrating them into position. However, most partial dentures require adjustment to get them in. If this is the case and the hospital did not do it then you will not be able to get them in. Contact the hospital or the dentist who referred you. They should be able to do the necessary adjustments.

Get straight onto the dentist who made them, it's very unlikely that the hospital will be able to help.
