help scared to go to dentist because my tooth

Just last night I was eating ham then suddenly a piece of my tooth broke off at the gum line my back molar tooth is decayed and I feel no pain I really want to go to the dentist but afraid of the procedure used to extract it and the pain it will cause it was decaying for about a year now but in that year about the 3rd month in it really Friken hurt unbearable pain I cried sure but the pain stopped so I ignored it now it broke and I'm worried any help is appreciated

I had the same problem happen to me a year ago.
GO TO DENTIST.
My tooth had broken off while I was eating a hard candy.
Over time the tooth was breaking off and it broke off to the gum line ( just half the tooth )
I didnt get to the dentist till a year later and the tooth hurt me so bad at times I wanted to pull my hair out.
The nerves eventually bothered me so bad. The tooth got so decayed it would have been over 1500$ to fix.
I had to get the tooth extracted just a couple days ago.
I have a huge fear of the dentist due to past visits and I grew up with horrible teeth. 5 years old getting my baby teeth pulled out so my adult teeth could grow normally.

Please, take my advice, and call the dentist.
It CAN be fixed. Mine could have been fixed but since I dont have benifits and not that much money, My only option was to pull it.
