My dentist mentioned he was a believer in remineralisation of teeth and reversing of early signs of decay and said I should be using a mouthwash (I use Colgate Fluoriguard) and a high fluoride toothpaste, as we were talking of my phobias etc I forgot to ask him further on what toothpaste he would recommend I use or one he could prescribe as I have been suceptable to decay.
I had a search on Google and Colgate have the prescription only toothpastes -Duraphat which I would really like to use, I thik the 2800 and not the 5000
So do I have to go back to have another appointment with my dentist to request to have a prescription? or can I just tell the receptionist this is what I would like and he could prepare a prescription. He only saw me yesterday....
