I’ve been to the dentist twice in the last week. Think I’ve only previously been as a child. I’m a pensioner now. I do need treatment but actually booking the appointment and attending was a massive step for me. I couldn’t discuss with anyone as I was so ashamed of my actions. My only life regret is that I didn’t do it sooner, what a fool I’ve been. Dentist was so kind and understanding, we even had a laugh.
I know everyone says the same thing but if I did it anyone can. I decided once I walked through the door I had to go through with it and end this fear I’ve had for a lifetime.

This is amazing! I put the dentist off for years as well and finally booked something this past May. I have been several times and even had oral surgery last month. My dentist is AMAZING and makes me not have nearly as much fear. It feels good that I took that step and am on the way to a nice healthy smile again! Proud of you for taking that step - its a big leap when we have that fear!
