I have about four teeth left the rest are broken, rotted, nibs that have only left anhole in my Gums. I have been to the dentist only a few times and most of those times were just to get antibiotics. I think this all started when I was younger because I can only remember screaming at the dentist office and them telling me to stop because I was scaring the other people. So from then on I just toughed it ouit of went to the er for emergency. I need dentures BAD! I can't chew because I have only one tooth left on top, but I can't get over this fear. Especially to get the front teeth pulled I can't do it I have tried ???

Welcome to the forum. :)

I promise you can do this. It might not be easy and it might take some time, but you totally can. There are options like sedation dentistry, laughing gas or IV sedation, the latter of which makes it so you're pretty much half-asleep during the procedure and don't remember it afterwards. Finding the right dentist who is willing to take their time with you is key. A good, phobic-friendly dentist will listen to your fears and go at a pace you can handle during the appointments, and if that pace is very very slow, then that's fine.

Tooth extractions are usually much quicker and less involved than fillings, even when the teeth are broken right down. I had all my teeth, wisdom teeth included, removed under general anasthetic, and the healing was actually very easy. In fact, out of the whole affair, the worst part was my own nerves beforehand, and the waiting! Nothing is scarier than what's in our own head.

Hang in there. :hug4:
