I Have to get molds!!! PLEASE HELP

i will be getting my braces off next tuesday and have had very bad experiences with molds in the past, however I have to get them again for my retainer. I will be using throat numbing spray and I was wondering how effective that is. mainly looking for people to let me know their experinces using numbing spray during molds. I'm looking to know if the spray will completely take away my gag reflex or what? any help is greatly appreciated! thanks

Hi! I wanted to tell you that I also have a really, really bad gag reflex and got some impression trays from my dentist to practice with. They didn't bother my gag reflex at all!

I've used the spray too, and it helps! Let your dentist know how nervous you are--maybe he can give you nitrous--it can help with the gag reflex a lot!
