Hi Kane,
Congrats on the shiny whites!!
I just had mine cleaned over 2 days and my front teeth became very hot/cold sensitive after the first cleaning. I told the dentist this when I went back yesterday for the rest of the job and he gave me a tube of Sensodyne toothpaste. His advice was to rub the paste onto the teeth with my finger and just leave it there. He did say the sensitivity's just because of the cleaning (teeth haven't had any real contact with hot/cold stuff while they've needed cleaning) and that it'll settle down soon enough but that the Sensodyne will help.
I used it three or four times yesterday so that I had an almost constant coating of the paste, and again this morning. Right now, I'm drinking steaming coffee and the sensitivity already seems to have gone
I'm not saying the toothpaste will cure yours but I'm much of the opinion that anything's worth trying
