I finally got two rotten teeth out of my mouth on Friday. He put a bone graft in because we are hoping to put implants as my mouth is a mess. Four days later I went from not having much pain the first two days to being in pain again. I'm on antibiotics but it definitely feels like I'm fighting off some kind of infection. I'm now terrified something went wrong with this, after it took so much courage to actually get it done (nevermind a good chunk of money, because of course).

I'll be calling in soon, since I don't have the luxury to wait and watch any longer with a snowstorm potentially about to dump over a foot on us tomorrow. Good thoughts appreciated, I'm hoping it's nothing or just something I need to push through. I just...it feels like it takes everything to just keep one foot going in front of the other with these problems some days, doesn't it? :shame:

Hopefully its nothing bad, don't know how I've lasted this long either its a constant struggle.

Better to call and get it looked at. It might not be anything worse, it might just be that you need better antibiotics. Good luck!!!?

No I'm not on antibiotics just meant its a struggle day to day.

hey Sun,

First off VERY WELL DONE for going through with the dental work!! You should feel proud of yourself, you did so well. I'm really really sorry you're struggling emotionally. Health stuff can wear you down and particularly tooth stuff because there's always ONE MORE THING to rectify. I know. I had four years of 'Ohh... yeah there's another problem now... we gotta operate AGAIN' like ugh fuck. Please try to hold on to hope - sounds like you've had a lot done recently and when you're in pain things can get even worse. Pain brings you down. Can you ask for painkillers too? I had antibis and codeine when my wizzie was fucking around in me head, knocked the pain right out but also me with it :giggle:

Can you tell me more about your low mood? I'm not sure which country you're in but if you're in the UK, samaritans are AMAZING, give 'em a call on 116123 they're there for a rant or a convo if you like, anything you like and they're always there.

I know things are hard right now. The hard part is getting through them. But you will. The pain will ease I promise - both physical and mental. Be kind to yourself.

Bear hugs,

HM

:bear:
