I got both my right top and bottom 3rd molars out, The top was easy and came out in one piece, the bottom took almost an hour. The dentist was extremely rough and was starting to get impatient, the force he used could have dislocated or broken my jaw if i was under general anaesthetic. My mandible extraction was stitched 3-4 times and my top wasn't sutured at all, im not sure if this is standard practice, from what i read its not, simple extractions get at least one suture.I cant see the top site at all, and the bottom site is covered with a grey film, i hear is also normal. I cant even eat pudding, i just drink juice and protein drinks. I want to make an appointment for him to just check me out, but he refuses to see me in a timely fashion (im on denti-cal, government HC plan)and lately i've been calling and calling just to get his offices machine every time. I read the swelling seems to peak around 3-2 days, yesterday i was pretty swollen, today is better but it hurts worse, i had a minor infection in that bottom wiz, so ive been taking Amox, that hurts my stomach because i have crohn's disease. Making it very very hard to take the tylenol III (interacts with my paxil btw) (i even told him i was on paxil) When my stomach is up to the task of tylenol III it does very little. I find IBprofen to work better but at the 800mg dose with hypertension i shouldn't really take that. Im up shit creek it seems, The pain keeps me up at night and keeps me from sleeping, when i do sleep i wake up covered in sweat. I may need to go the the ER, and i really dont want too. I envy those of you that have access to universal health care, because private healthcare is a joke.
