Hope someone can assist in my question:
Part of an old filling on the 1st molar lower left broke off recently and my dentist said initially it could be filled again. However after he had drilled most of it out he decided that there was not enough tooth left to hold a filling in place! He has put a temporary filling in but eventually this tooth will have to be extracted.
For some reason, and i dont know why, i am concerned about the extraction as people have said the molars are hard to extract, particularly if the filling has been deep previously. I have anaesthetic without epi and this is not a problem for me, but is it true that molars are hard to take out?

Thanks
