I’m having my left lower first molar and left upper first molar removed. Will eating be difficult (once it’s all healed)?

Hi, it's really hard to predict these things - some people adapt very easily to missing teeth, while others do experience problems. Thinking about it, I've seen many people eat with little or no difficulty with quite a few missing teeth (as you probably have as well), so obviously it's possible. But everyone is different in this regard, and some people find it harder than others.

If money is not an issue, then you could look into implants to replace the missing teeth (unfortunately, this is not something that's available on the NHS). Depending on whether you have other teeth missing, partial dentures may also be an option (and these are available on the NHS). It would be best to discuss all this with your dentist who should be able to advise you, having seen you in person :)
