My daughter was treated by a dentist about a month ago cavity was filled and antibiotics were taken but the abscess is sstill there??? She said it doesn't hurt but is this a problem is this normal? also she has developed a pea size lump on her upper cheek bone is this any cause of the abscess we recently moved and in the process of getting medical in another state but uncovered at the moment is she OK to wait for the medical to go through or shouldiI just go pay for something to be done I don't know what to do or how worried I should be is there anything I can do at home in the mean time?

There isn't really anything else you can do. She does need to see a dentist though so I would probably consider paying for her to see a dentist. If it is on a first tooth then it could be removed because the condition of the baby teeth effect the adult teeth. If she has developed a lump the abscess hasn't gone, the dentist needs to either clear the infection of remove the tooth.

Abscesses don't go with antibiotics they need a dentist to work on it to clear it.

All the best to you and your daughter :butterfly:
