@biffo1963 having a spare set is such a good idea. I'm seriously thinking about getting one too but it's going to cost £800.00. Still the thought of having to go without teeth is too awful to contemplate. I know 2 people who have broken their dentures this year and had to go without their teeth for a while.

@Lindylou1601 I have partial denture 2 teeth on top yes I gag but only if I think about it too much . They fit pretty well and do the job cosmetically. I dont wear when at home only out out . Fixadent I find extremely hard to remove so don't use it .

@smirked thank you for sharing. I got my delivery this morning, a day early and oh my goodness….. IT WORKS! I have been wearing my dentures all day comfortably and I feel amazing! Total game changer!! I finally left my house today and went the the shop 😁 there may be a light at the end of the tunnel after all x

@Kel8623 That's fantastic news 😎 Was it cushion grip or the other reline kit that you got?

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Denture life can be challenging in the beginning.

@smirked it was the ProSoft reliner that i ordered 😁

@Kel8623 It's a great feeling when you get the right product. Having dentures that fit.

No holding you back now 😂

I literally haven’t stopped smiling! Thank you for being so supportive 😁

@Kel8623 You're welcome. Been there, done that. Had the same struggle.

Glad to be of help.

Your next challenge is eating. But the denture reline will help you there. Easier to eat with snug dentures.

That's brilliant news @Kel8623 - maybe we should add both the ProSoft reliner and Cushion grip to the Dentures FAQ page? Does anyone know if both of these are available in the US and the UK?

@letsconnect I know that cushion grip is a US based company and is available to the US and UK.

I buy from Amazon UK.

@smirked hey, only just saw this reply. I tried to eat yesterday and felt like I was going to choke but I tried again this evening with something small and I managed to do it! I ink ate a small amount but it’s progress at least! I got some fixodent for backup and applied a small amount yesterday as we had a gathering for my best friends birthday and I wanted to make sure that my dentures stayed put and I had them in from 10am-11pm with no issues and the same amount of time today. They are fitting so well and I feel so comfortable with them that I don’t want to take them out for bed - although I will lol x

@letsconnect no I used the prosoft - which is the cushion realigner kit I got and just normal fixodent adhesive for extra security and reassurance. My prosoft came with two kits inside and I’ve only used one of them so far x

@letsconnect just re-read the message lol. Yes I’m using the ProSoft and its literally saved my sanity 🙏🏻 I am going to get some of the cushion grip that @smirked mentjoned, for back up lol

@letsconnect I’m in the UK so I’m unsure but I think adding it to the FAQ page is a good idea! I was at my wits end and the prosoft has worked better then I could have hoped for x
