numbing question

Hi, could anybody tell me how much of the tongue goes numb with a lower nerve block.

The side that is being worked on, most of the time it isn't that bad, I had a lower back tooth worked on and my tongue wasn't as numb as I thought it was going to be, it just thawed out with the rest of my mouth.

The front 2/3 of the tongue on one side. The back of the tongue (from about the wisdom teeth back) is not affected. It goes right up to the center line of the tongue, it might feel like it crosses over somewhat but you will probably have partial feeling along the center line region.

Half of it. I just had one yesterday and one last week BUT my tongue came back to life fairly quickly.
