I'm having my wisdom teeth removed this Thursday. (4 at once. All are impacted) My oral surgeon has prescribed pills for me to take, most people only need two but I'm gonna take all 3 for max sedation, (I'll be on laughing gas too.) But I'm worried I won't be sedated enough. I can't do IV sedation for several reasons, but it was what I originally wanted. Has anyone done oral sedation? How well does it work?

Hello :) Hope everything went well with your surgery. In my experience, when my wisdom teeth were removed, the doctor didn't give me any pills, and I was wide awake the whole time (2 hours). I definitely recommend people who are in the previous days to their surgery to express your concerns to your doctor so he can prescribe a strong enough sedative and you don't remember anything from the procedure... like me
