Hello,
I have had a dental phobia due to some severe trauma. Anyway I have started picking up the pieces and so far done a few things
1. extraction of broken down upper molar (not wisdom, regular tooth)
2. Silver flouride treatment to early cavities
3. 3 fillings on the lower jaw (the scariest one for me)
I am very paranoid about having work on the lower jaw. I managed to get myself in to do the fillings but I was so scared of being numb. thankfully it didn't numb my throat as I was afraid it would and it really was only the bottom half of my jaw on that side of my face.
Will it always be like that? One of the next things I need to do is have the broken #31 tooth removed and that will of course require being numb on the bottom again
