So for almost 2 weeks now I've had this red spot inside my cheek. No pain at all, feels kind of like a dry area right after a dentist would take gauze out. Don't remember biting it, I don't use any tobacco products. Went for regular cleaning 1 month ago, guess it wasn't there, doc didn't say anything. 35/yo, very little alcohol, no health problems... Aside from some anxiety. Could this be from a food burn or something? Maybe a chip cut me and it takes a while to heal? It almost feels a little rough when my tongue rubs it. It's maybe the size of a dime...?
Any doctors or hygienists know what this could be? It has my anxiety flared up cause I made the mistake of looking things up online and first result is worst case scenario.
I know, it's probably nothing but an irritated area, or it got rubbed raw or something... there's 2 crowns right next to where it is.
would appreciate so insight as it has my mind racing
