I went in for a root canal on one of my front teeth and the "file" they used to clean out the nerve canals broke inside of my tooth. (They call it file separation).
However, he can't get it out because he claims he doesn't have the tools needed to extract it. He referring me to another dentist that is 50 miles away.
So on top of the bill to the "specialist", i have to pay for the gas it will take to drive there and back.
Here are my questions:
Should the dentist pay anything for me having to the specialist?
How common is "file separations" in root canals?
Should I continue going to this dentist?
