Hello
So my appointment for my teeth too be taken out , two back ones and detained roots , they will be done under general anaesthetic. 16th of August hopefully!

Anyway o have been trying too find a NHS dentist and hopefully I have .
I called one today and I need too go and fill in a health form .
I said I’ll go and do it next week , am just wondering if they would let me also attach like a letter about how having autism can make it a lot worse and how I need them too work with me etc .
The person I spoke too on the phone he was so helpful and I explained my situation regarding my teeth and how I need help with them once I’ve had this done .
Am hoping they can give my partial dentures, just basically help me with my teeth because I know once this surgery has been done I will have like two teeth at the back as I have a lot of teeth missing and it does effect me so much .

Hi Natzuk,
adding an information on how having autism can make it a lot worse and what you need them to do sounds like a great idea to me! What is it particularly that you would like to let them know and what would you like them to do to help?

@Enarete
I do find it hard when there’s not clear information, being rushed like the last dentist did also I’m absolutely scared of needles and can’t be rushed into having my mouth numbed . Being rushed definitely like when I have a filling I need too wait until I feel okay too stand up and leave .
Not being told my teeth are bad when I already know ! The last dentist did this and I felt disgusting .
They need too tell me what they are using before it goes in my mouth . I also can’t have adrenaline in the local anaesthetic.

These sound like very reasonable wishes. Any dentist who will be treating you should find it helpful to know. :)
