Keep forgetting I can come on here on my phone Hi Carole :) guess where I have been since the 9 th:scared: how are things with you and on the high seas?

Hi I guess you had to return to the hospital :( I have not had internet access for about a week so I am just trying to catch up with everything. :butterfly::waves::waves::waves:

How are you now?

Nooooooooo, say it isn't so................you didn't have to go back to the hospital, did you??????

Yes I am back in it flared up and I am having to have more IV antibiotics:cry:

Guess we need to bring out these big fella's again :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

I am sorry to hear that you have had to go back in. So what is happening now with you, do they know how long you will be in this time. I hope you get out soon, I hope your sister can manage to visit you after you looked after her in her time of need.

Get better soon we miss you :butterfly::butterfly::butterfly:

I am back on antibiotics as my ankle got red and tender and wouldn't respond to oral meds so Dr advised coming in for IV I get to see a dermatologist tomorrow hopefully so that may throw a different view point on things or another suggestion Thanks for the smil ies. X x. P. s sister has visited and of course hubby every night :)

I thought your sister would have been to see you. I do hope you get this sorted out and that is all gets cleared up, can you believe all this over a small pan.

When you come face to face with that pan again give it a kick, or actually maybe you shouldn't :rofl::rofl::rofl: that pan has an evil streak.
:fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::butterfly:

Bet when you found these you didn't think you would be the one getting the most did you :grin:

Thanks Carole, yes that pan will suffer one way or another :evil:
I think I cursed myself finding that smiley:rofl: hope you are doing ok? I am just waiting to see the consultant on his rounds this morning see what he thinks so :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::giggle:

I think I can say I have accepted these dentures as part of me, now I can start getting the permanent ones sorted out , funny can seem so huge in your life til a curved ball kicks you in the butt :giggle:

Doesn't it just :confused:

Are you still in the hospital, or have you escaped?

I hope you can manage to get your perm teeth sorted out soon, good luck :clover::clover::clover:

Still in with a gallstone attack thrown in for good measure so ultrasound today and hopefully news about when I can. Get out of here How are things with you? :)

That small pan has a lot to answer for, I can't believe all the trouble from just dropping a little pan on your foot. I think it must have been possessed.

I am sorry you are still in and having further problems. Everything is fine with me thank you. I have the dentist on Friday for a bridge prep, not looking forward to that.

I really hope you get out soon and that everything gets better :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::butterfly::butterfly::butterfly:

Thank you Carole,
Gallbladder seems ok but not had official nod yet so hope to escape very soon got my next appointment on Tuesday to start on my permanent dentures Hope all goes ok at your next appointment.:clover::clover:

I am no longer a NHS inmate:giggle:
:yayy::dance2::dance2::whirl::cheer2:
Carole how did you get on with your bridge prep today???

YEAH :jump::jump::jump::jump::jump::cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::dance2::dance2::dance2::dance2::dance2::victory::victory::victory::yayy::yay::yay::yay::claps::claps::claps::whirl::whirl::whirl::whirl::whirl::whirl::whirl::whirl::whirl::whirl:
I am glad you escaped :grin: How do you feel?

My bridge prep went well, my jaw is killing me but that is normal for me the dentist said she is thinking to see me in three months and if it isn't any better, which she doesn't think it will be she wants to refer me to the hospital for them to see it. I have forgotten the dept and treatment she said but anyway they look at the jaw. I said I thought the bridge might help because my back teeth haven't met because the tooth that is being covered by the bridge was taken out of the bite to protect it but it sent my jaw out I think. She doesn't think it has cause my jaw to be as bad as it is. It is a nightmare when having any treatment done.

She is called Pamela so I will stop calling her she as it seems rude. Pamela stops and lets me rest my jaw for a few seconds while working and that helps. I will be glad when the bridge is on and hopefully I will have a break from all the dental stuff. I have lost count of how many appointments I have had.

Back to you, what happens next with you?

Is your leg still swollen?

What is happening with your dentures?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddddddd can you get your hands on that devil pan that started all this :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

All the best to you :butterfly:

Now then the pan:evil: I was thinking about running the tractor over it well not me driving as it may well seek its final revenge on me but watching it being destroyed from a safe distance may be fun:rofl::rofl::rofl:
I had countless bolus' of IV antibiotics and my infection has subsided it is believed that the redness is left over toxins and they should go, further to my leg my one tiny gallstone that has been almost dormant for 6 years decided to lodge itself where it shouldn't last Saturday resulting in a full blown attack with the on call dr brought in me in agony and a midnight trip on a gurney down to X-ray and an uncomfy night hooked up to a drip and loaded up with morphine, but it settled down again and ultrasound shows still a rogue one that at some point maybe removed! Least I was in the best place for it to happen and wasn't at home with a 40 min trip to reach A&E and then a hospital wait before treatment which would have been horrendous, I still have my IV line in situ for a few weeks til I see my GP just in case anything should kick off!!!!
your dentist seems very good in tune with your needs and maybe this jaw dr can help too but in the meantime I hope the pain in your jaw settles down quickly.
regarding my dentures this temp set are fairly loose but manageable but it has been tricky esp. At the start of my hospital stay to find suitable foods of the NHS menu but I will be starting the journey to my permanent set so I guess this means impressions, least this time I will not have the fear that when the impressions are removed my teeth will get pulled out with them:giggle:. I will write on Tuesday afternoon when I get back and let you know what has been done.
hope the other members of the crossed up club are doing ok? :hug4:To you all :grouphug:

Hi, Deejay,
YAY,:yayy:, I'm glad you're free. I have a gallbladder that doesn't function 100% and so I'm prone to mild (at least so far they've been mild) attacks.................I've been having a mild attack now for a couple of weeks.......................need to have my husband recover from his surgery first before I get checked out. Heck of a way to lose a few pounds, though, :giggle:.
Hubby has to eat a soft bland diet for a few weeks as part of his recovery, so I eat it too, helps me out too......less pain.
:hug5:'s.

Yeah Chickenjen mine grumbles occasionally but it doesn't seem to make a difference what I eat the first time I had an attack was 3 months into a low fat diet! But apparently if you are not eating enough it will kick off too so the surgeon said! Hope your hubby improves quickly xx

Pretty chilled 20 mins in the dentists chair, had a quick check over and a hard reline of my upper plate, my gosh that stuff they use tastes disgusting I am frantically eating anything to try and kill the taste:frantic:! Plus there are a few places that are a little rough just from some excess reline material that I have only just noticed so I may have to just gentle file it off before it causes a blister.
Other than that, an invite to be in the chair during an assessment end of the month and a scale under happy air in November!
Happy:jump:
