....and the length of time it takes for the creosote taste to go.

I returned to the access centre dentist today, as she advised me to come back if the antibiotics I had been given last week, metronidazole, hadn't worked.

As this was my thrid lot of antibiotics, amoxycillin first, then augmentin, rather than give me more pills, she gave my teeth a little dressing, at two sites, on lower molars, same side.

I'm thankful, and she is a lovely dentist. She explained these were medicine, direct onto the site. I also have two metronidazole pills left to take.
If I still have pain on Wednesday, I am to go back, but if it's fourth time lucky, and I no longer need painkillers, I can await my upcoming appointment with the community dentist (waiting for date)

My question is, will everything taste of creosote for ages, or will it wear off, as its making me a bit nauseous.

thank you for you help in advance.

It takes ages to wear off, a couple of days at least. Sorry.

hhhahahah, thanks for the reply.
It dosen't seem too bad now.
Maybe I have got used to it.
Still, it's better than the agony I was in beforehand.
:)
