Tooth extraction gone wrong

Hey my first time here, had a attempted tooth extraction today but it snapped and he couldn’t get the root out and has said I will need surgical removal, but he has said because it had root canal before the tooth is dead and won’t cause me any pain,

I go on holiday in 7 days and he said that’s not a problem as because there’s no nerve it won’t cause pain, anyone else had this ? I am now so nervous and worried about the dentist

As per PM. Take some antibiotics with you. Chances are it'll be fine but unless you can find somebody to remove it for you in the next week that's the best you can do.
