This is the fourth day of the upper molar tooth extraction and i inspected the hole today. Well, the whole is filled alright. And i have read on the internet that the clot can turn grayish. But this is not grayish. This looks like a nightmare. this worries me greatly, i almost am certain that something is wrong. i also get slight throbbing pain around 30 minutes before i go to sleep and my cheek still hurts when touched. Thanks in advance.20151211_083336.jpg

That's a socket healing normally. Like any wound you would get a fibrin clot which turns into a scab and gives this horrible looking grey/brown thick piece of skin. Leave this well alone. It will bleed if disturbed and that is the body regenerating blood vessels to bring nutrients to heal so if it bleeds then that is a good sign also.

If you want this to heal quick without complications then keep your mouth clean, DO NOT SMOKE, DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL until it has fully healed.
