Worried about decay on my front teeth! Please help!

Hi, ive always had a major fear of going to the dentist, as a child i was reffered to a special dentistry at my local hospital that deals with phobic patients and i have been going there ever since - im now 19.
The last time i went my dentist told me i had some decay on the back of my two front teeth, but it did not seem to be too drastic as she didnt do anything about it then.
Now im due for my next dental check up and im really worried as i have looked at the back of my front teeth and have noticed some light brown discolouration, it isnt all over, just in the middle where my front teeth meet.
However as a dental phobic this has caused me a lot of distress and ive been worrying a lot about what will happen when i go to get my teeth looked at.
How drastic is this decay, also what do you think will be done to my teeth to eradicate it? Please help, im so worried about losing my teeth!

i wouldent worry to much. from what i gather...light brown discoloration means its still in the early stage. As long as there is no actual hole, id doubt they drill and even if they did it would be very little if caught early enough.

I highly doubt your going to loose your front teeth over some minor light brown marks.

In the future though, try to floss. this is most important, because it clears out the food and bacteria from underneath ur gums and in between your teeth where ur toothbrush cant manage to reach. Trust me, its worth it!

I have had a cavity directly between my two front teeth. I was afraid that it would (1) hurt and (2) look like some type of plaster sitting in front of my teeth. I told my dentist about my concerns before he got started and the only bad part about it was that he had to give me a shot in the upper palette of my mouth. It stung, but soon it was numb. The end result was a filling I could not even tell was there. Just make sure you talk to your dentist first and express your fears. I'm sure he/she will do all they can to make it a smooth experience. Remember: Your fear is greater than what will really take place. You will be fine.

I think your question has be answered very well by both yourbigpal83 and little lady. The only thing I would add is it is highly unlikely that you would need the "shot in the palate" that little lady had.

I also have a filling on the back of my top two teeth. Worse part was the numbing, but got better after that! The only different I can tell is you knoww here you could feel each teeth separately? Well now it's all smooth, almost like there is just one tooth but you can't tell from the front

just a question about tooth wobbliness

Hi, just a general question really, i was just wondering are teeth in general very hard to move or do they all have a very slight looseness. The reason im asking is my teeth feel as tho they can wobble a little bit if i push them and i just wondered if this is normal or the start of worse to come really?
I think im going to have to have fillings in the back of my front teeth and i was just wondering if my teeth wobble a tiny bit, will the drill make them loose? Might sound silly but ive got myself worried about it! As my front teeth, if any are the loosest but they arent very loose.
Please help!

Teeth wobble a tiny bit, they're connected to the jaw bones by small ligaments which allow slight movement.
