I had my lower back molar out on Wednesday morning and now i'm terrified incase i get dry socket. I don't really have much pain, just a little niggle now and again but i did have a dry socket a few years ago on the other side and really don't want to go through that again. I have tried to be very careful when eating anything but it is very difficult to avoid some bits of food from entering the cavity. I noticed something white in the socket and am assuming that its a piece of bread or something, it does move around a little. I have a really bad taste in my mouth and i don't think my breath is too sweet either
. Could this be the start of a dry socket or is the danger time for that passed? I'm extra worried as i don't know what i would do if the pain got really bad over the weekend as there are no dentists open then as far as i know.
Can anyone help, please?
