Hi there. Welcome to the forum. I believe we have quite a few young people on the forum. I am no longer a teen but I joined the forum as a teen and it helped me a lot with working through my fears. It wasn't too long ago that I was a teen; I'm 25 now so if you ever want advice from someone who was just there, feel free to ask me anything.

I'm 18 but have been on the forum since I was 16 and have come a long way since I joined in 2012. I only went back to the dentist recently (in February) after 10 years avoidance and although it didn't happen as I had hoped, I still come here daily to see how everyone is and am still trying to go regularly now. If you want to, you can read my story about how I got on in the months running up to me going back to the dentist - I felt like I was the only one who had bad dental phobia in my age group but since coming here I quickly discovered the opposite and there are many people our age who are in the same boat that we are.
