Bit confused about NHS prices

Im sorry to keep asking questions but im a bit confused about NHS prices for dental work.
The last time i went to the dentist i didnt have to pay because i wasnt working but i have to pay this time.

I have googled it but im still a bit confused.....it doesnt take much ....i know that there are different bands so if you had 5 fillings which is band 2 is that £47 per filling or does it cover them all. I paid £17 the other day for my check-up, im going back Monday for X-rays and i need at least one RC...... I dont want to get another shock when i get the bill.

from the NHS website:

Band 2: £47 includes all treatment covered by Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).

Band 1 is the £17 charge you have already paid.

The root canalled tooth may need a crown to protect it. A crown would fall into Band 3 (£204).

What im confused about is if i had to have 2 RC and 2 crowns would i pay 2x £204 or is £204 for both of them.
