cavity under gumline scared !!

you may remember me but its been a while since ive been on.#
anyway i was just flossing and when the gum between my front tooth and the one at the side of it moved i can see a tiny dark mark on the tooth at the side of my front tooth ive had lots of bad teeth and work done and i know this is bad news. ive made an appointment for tomorrow with my dentist but im worried if this hole is under the gum how is he going to fix it !!! as i said its really small so best dealt with quick but im scared cause i dont know how he can fix it ! its right above a previous composite filling it really doesnt look too bad but panic is setting in and id appreciate any help can it be fixed ? id actually rather have teeth out than face the drill i hate it that much !! x

Welcome back. I doubt it's too much of a big deal to fix so long as you are numb at the time.
Have you found a dentist you trust yet or is this unchartered waters with your current one?
Ask the dentist to explain and reassure before starting the treatment.

usually you can push on the gum and get to most of them.
