I know this has probably been discussed many times before so I do apologise for starting a thread on flying again.
I am going away for 5 days In from the UK to Jersey Channel Islands and unfortunately I have this massive fear of getting on a plane and finding out my teeth are in pain from flying in a pressurised cabin.
it’s weird because I used to be a frequent traveller years ago, went on flights with no problems but back then I had no dental issues. As I grew older, my fear for dentists and flying terrified me because of seeing articles and reports about dental issues and flying on the Internet.
I have a few broken teeths at the back, one tooth at the back that needs to be extracted but it’s causing me no pain, just major sensitivity with drinks. I tend to not use that tooth whilst I’m eating and drinking and it does seem to do the trick and i have got on with it for a good number of years.
Both of my back teeth from on my the left and right came out on its own last year without any issues and pain.
I also have gum disease but that’s being currently treated well so far and the dentist that I visited 3 months ago scaled and polished as well and said there’s no problems.
So what I’m trying to ask is, with the current dental issues that I got that’s not causing me any pain. Can I still get on that plane without any issues?
I’m sorry for the lengthy post. It’s been bothering me for the past few years.
