dental or sinus issue?

hi,OK i'll try to explain everything as best as I can. I've been dealing with this for a while but just didn't do anything with it..Yeah I know bad decision. Other day I made my dentist appointment but won't be able to get in until July 3rd due to over booked. my issue has been with my upper jaw..where I wouldn't say its a pain feeling,more like uncomfortable,pressure..awkward feel. At times I get that sensation/pressure feel around my two front teeth. Actually between my two front teeth there is a little painless bump/lump whatever you want to call it. Also between my left front tooth and the tooth beside that is a little swollen there. Also above the left front tooth and 2 teeth to the left of it has a little redness. Its only those 3 with redness,where others around aren't like that plus my lower jaw hasn't had any issues at all,feels normal. say when I don't have that sensation feeling from time to time..say if I move my mouth around,there's that awkward tight feel on the very top of my jaw,barely underneath my nose,under the left nostril if that makes any sense. hehe

As for sinus..few months ago I had a very bad cold and not that long after I think I had a sinus infection,where my head was all clogged up,ears clogged..sinus pressure on top of my head...where nowadays I still have a congested feel in my head..my nose isn't stuffy,nor eyes watery,but still that whole feeling anyway,plus pressure feel on top/back of my head from time to time,i'm curious also if this jaw/teeth situation could just be a sinus thing? which I know this isn't a sinus forum but say if my problem doesn't sound like a dental issue what i'm curious about. I know I won't know for sure until I see the dentist next month but rather have some input then guessing games going through my head. haha thanks

questions about root canal...

I called the dentist this morning,I won't be able to get into until Monday morning for the dentist to check my situation out. of course all these wonders popping through my head especially root canal. For starts i've had my situation for a while now and I haven't been through any pain what so ever. more like a pressure discomfort senstation around my front teeth (upper jaw) which that senstation comes and goes..not a constant situation. Also above my two front teeth is a little bump/pimple like thing..also redness above my left front tooth along with 2 teeth beside that. Are these possible symptoms even though i've dealt with no pain what so ever

I would tend to lean towards a dentally related problem rather than your sinuses since I'm a bit psychic, reckless, and I find it hard to see clearly with this darn mask on. Most sinus pain that I've encountered in patients were more related to the back upper teeth. From your description, there could be an abscess in or around that upper left front incisor. You could do some simple tests to see how it responds as compared to it's neighbours.

Try taking a metal spoon or something and tap lightly upwards on the edge to see how it feels. You can also place the corner of an ice cube on the front face of each tooth until you feel something cold. If that left tooth (or which ever one) responds differently, that might give you some indication as to which tooth may be abscessed. It could either be a gum abscess or possibly a nerve related one.

I thought this question sounded familiar... For a second there I thought it was "Abscessed Left Front Upper Tooth Week" or something. You might want to check the other thread you made about it.
