Diy filling

Hi Wonder if someone can help, my two upper front teeth have previously been filled, they both had sort of grooves in them as if brushed too hard, this has now worn off,leaving what looks like brown stripey stains(not pretty!!) My dentist cant see me till january,but I'm getting married on 20th of this month and am desperate to do something about them before the wedding pics! Would the temp filling kits which can be bought do the job temporarily? Would really appreciate some advice on this, Thanks,Carol

Wouldn't do the job and wouldn't look very good.

Have you tried explaining to the dentist about your circumstances, in the past I've given people "standby" appointments, basically come in early in the session and if somebody cancels at the last minute, we'll fit you in. It's sometimes possible to do a quick patch up job that would tide things over till a proper appointment can be made.

If in the special circumstances, your dentist still can't or won't fit you in, why don't you simply go elsewhere for a temporary or permanent fix? Your wedding photos will potentially be with you forever. Good luck.

yes i'd say if your dentist won't help you out- call around and find someone who will.
It sounds like an easy enough thing to sort out!

Thanks folks, the dentist I have to see in January is a new dentist(to me) been on waiting list, going try ringing in morning and explain so fingers crossed, they are my future hubbie's dentist so hopefully will take pity on me!
