I had 3 extractions in 2024 in the lower right side of my mouth one being a wisdom tooth. I ended up with Dry Socket the wisdom tooth that came out was huge. I have since had ongoing issues with pain in at the site which is intermittent but regular. Its like toothache and nerve pain but also a strange sensation of like cotton wool on the tongue which touches the extraction area. The dentist can find nothing wrong and i am at my wits end as to where to go for help. I do have slight TMJ also due to daily use of Setraline.
Can anyone offer any advise of whom i can see to help with this issue. Normal scans show nothing at the dentist. I have had a lot of treatment in this area, extractions, root canals etc but this was over 2 years ago. It is starting to affect my daily life and I just want answers but am not sure where to turn. I live in the UK so anyone in london area would be helpful

Ask for a referral to Oral Medicine from your dentist. There should be a department in one of the larger teaching hospitals.

@Gordon Thank you. I will book an appointment with dentist and request this
