I've always had a dental phobia. I've had dentists tell me as a teenager that I was a baby and such due to my anxiety. Tried again a few times as an adult and had similar reactions from dentists calling me names, while I am crying and shaking in fear. I became disabled due to severe anxiety & panic attacks and tried again and was able to do IV sedation a few times. That was wonderful!. That wasn't an option for me any longer. Then about 4 years ago my teeth started to go black, and break and get infected constantly and the pain, oh the pain.. I'm always hiding teeth. Covid was a blessing to wear a mask. I finally got up the nerve to try again because the pain is daily. I have made it thru all my bottom right teeth being extracted in one sitting with just local. It was not good. The dentist was great thou. I'm waiting on insurance approval and they are going to extract all the other teeth at once and do oral sedation with nitrous and I'm not sure what medication yet. I will not have dentures , even temporarys, until I am fully healed. They say because of the missing and broken teeth, I do not have enough to do molds. So freaking about the extraction and the aftercare. Any tips, help, or anyone else that have gone thru this? I haven't been able to find anything searching. Everyone gets temporarys. Thanks!
