Help! It's been one week since surgery! I ate some potatoes and meat and then I went to
do salt water rinse and brush my good side of my mouth..as I was driving I kept tasting blood

and when I looked there was a pool of blood in the extraction hole? I'm scared! Is this normal??

I know this might be a bit late, but if you are worried ring your dentist and get advise from them on what to do. If you do start bleeding if you make a roll out of lint or some damp kitchen roll and put it in the gap where you had the tooth removed and bite down it will help to stop it.

Also I have read on here that an old teabag does the same thing and if probably easier to get your hands on.

Best wishes.
