I know people say that there is no one out there with teeth as bad as theirs and I am no exception. I am a 35 female and have lost many of my teeth have serious decay and this morning I awoke to find that sometime, in the night I had broken off part of one of my front teeth. I am so scared that I will soon have nothing but a mouth full of pain and decay.
I really have got to the point where I would love for someone to help me resolve my fears so that I can try and get some help. As a child I became scared of going to the dentist having had several teeth removed at the same time, and again when I was 14 and needed a filling repaired. I have two extra teeth at the front (they look abit like fangs) and the dentist I saw decided to try and correct the postion of these teeth and caused my so much pain I never went back to have a temp filling replaced. Following that filling falling out my teeth have just gone from bad to worse, and I am now so scared of what a dentist may say (I have had a not very sympathetic nurse who read me the riot act)and totally humiliated that I have let it get so bad.
I am also very scared of the cost as I am a single mum, looking for work so have very limited finances. This situation has got so bad for me I have lost all the confidence I once had and will often sit crying as I am so fed up.
If anyone on here could offer me some advice it would be very gratefully recieved
