Is my tooth decaying, dirty, or something else?

I was looking at my teeth in the mirror and I saw that one of my teeth had a lot of brown on it (pictures attached, apologies for the quality, the tooth is towards the back and difficult to photograph).

My immediate thought was 'Well I'm going to lose that tooth' - I have no pain but I'm now very worried. Is it decaying, dirty or something else? Should I say goodbye to that tooth?

You really can't tell just by looking. Needs to be physically examined by a dentist. Sorry.

Thank you anyway, Gordon.

I last saw a dentist in February, so I'm hoping that whatever it is can't be that bad as I was seen just over 6 months ago, and if it was a huge problem now it would've been at least a minor problem then.

Definitely isn't a huge problem if that helps any :)
