So I think I was more relaxed knowing I had to get two root canals. Getting a bunch of stuff done today: permanent crowns, go treatment on top, and two top molars and two wisdom teeth taken out. My appt is not til 330 this afternoon and he said I.T should take an hour and a half. I keep thinking I.T seems like a lot of work to be done in that amount of time. I’m
Terrified of the bleeding and that my face might swell. I didn’t take tomorrow off because hopefully I won’t be swollen and I can go in. Please tell me I.T will be fine.

I just wanted to say good luck for today

Well today is my day as well - and the time is the same - only central time. I have only 1 extraction, but I am still very nervous. Best of luck to both of us

You will do great! ;)

Best of luck to you all.. May the time in the chair go quickly and better than you ever imagined it would! May your dentist be competant and kind today!!

It’s done!

Well as terrified as I was I had my two too wisdom teeth and three molars taken out. I told him before we even started how scared I was. I.T went great. A little pressure on one wisdom tooth and then I didn’t feel a thing for anything else. Did not even know he took the second wisdom tooth out. No pain as of yet, no swelling as of yet and little bleeding. Just still a bit numb after 4 hours. The big job on bottom isn’t til the summer but i was happy this went so well. Thank you for your support.

Yes and I was totally fine the next morning. Was almost prepared to be in pain and wake up looking like a chipmunk. Was all set to call in sick. But when I woke up I was totally fine! Went to work, was eating and everything. Hoping when I get bottom done I.T guess just as good.

I know we sort of followed each other's journey over the last couple days. They didn't pull my molar on Thursday, instead they worked on the teeth they are saving and did a crown lengthening procedure. So I still need to have the molar pulled.

I wish that it was all behind me, but it is not. I am very proud of you for making it through it.

So how did it feel when they were doing it? Did you have any feeling at all? Or were you so numb you had no idea what they were doing?

By the way, I saw your post about wine. I think you deserve the whole bottle after what you have been through

First I am so grateful for this site and knowing we are all in the same boat. My journey is far from over as I have no idea how I will do with full extractions on the bottom and a bottom denture this summer. To answer your question, the wisdom tooth on the left I just felt a lot of pressure but I.T didn’t hurt at all. I had my music in my earbuds turned up high enough I didn’t hear a thing. On the right I had no idea he even took any out. I was beyond numb which was fine with me. Novacaine dudnt wear off fully til 4 hours later lol. Praying the bottom goes as smoothly as this. Your molar will be a breeze I promise

I don't know what "I.T" stands for - guess I am still new to the forum. It is good to know that they numb you up good. When I had my thing done, he left me alone for about 5 minutes. Then he came back and wiggled something, asked me if i could feel it, and I responded "a little" - then he gave me another shot - he really made sure I was numb

The I.T is a glitch on my phone. I.T should just be the regular was but I.T always make capitals and periods lol
