Hello there, I had a failed tooth extraction because of pus under my tooth and the numbing injection didn't work. I was put on antibiotics. I finished all my medication but still have a slight raised bump on the side of my tooth. I went back to the dentist and they said they would remove the tooth but a feared it might not work again so they gave me 2 days to see if the swelling went away, saying the antibiotics might be delayed. After coming back from the dentist, I now have a slight ache under my chin. What should I do now? Should I go back to the dentist and just have the tooth pulled out or should I take another round of antibiotics?
